A fishing pier awaits those who would like to try their luck at fishing along the boardwalk

Starting at the Marina end, walkers along the boardwalk will walk along the Manistique River and harbor, with breathtaking sunrises for those early walkers, and just as breathtaking sunsets in the evenings. Boats of all shapes and sizes visit our marina, and can be seen while walking. Walkers can also walk the breakwall (on nice days such as this) out to the Manistique Lighthouse.

At a little over 2.5 miles, the boardwalk offers walkers a walk through a wooded area, where many interpretive signs discuss everything from tree species to fish species

Soft sandy beaches along the boardwalk lure swimmers and sun bathers to the cool refreshing waters of Lake Michigan.
